On march 16, Nicosia will become a meeting point for young people committed to the future of our planet with the arrival of the Climathon Action4Climate, an event dynamic and participatory, designed to transform the concern in action in front of the weather challenges.
Climathon is much more than a day of debate: it is a space where young people from different backgrounds come together to learn, share ideas, and create real solutions to the problems associated with the climate that affect us all. With participants from Spain, Cyprus and Macedonia to the North, the event will offer the opportunity to learn directly from experts in sustainability, as well as environmental organizations and youth who are already pushing for the change.
The main element of the Climathon are climate challenges specially designed, which will be addressed in collaborative teams. With the support of mentors, the groups will analyze specific problems, to propose innovative solutions and develop ideas with social and environmental impact, all in an environment that is creative, inclusive and motivating. The forests, the air quality or how we can measure the water pollution are just some of the themes that will work for the Climathon.
